Future of Palm-Mar

There are big plans for the future of the Palm Mar, the coastline will be improved and different proposals have been presented to the Arona Town hall and are awaiting the necessary permits.

Plans have been drawn to install mooring facilities for a taxi boat to take people back and forth to Los Cristianos. Diving facilities are planned for the most tranquil part of the coastline and several natural seawater swimming pools will be constructed into the sea. A deluxe sports club and spa will also be built.

Palm-Mar Tenerife

Palm-Mar is to be 100% residential, designed for people who want to come to Tenerife to live in luxury and enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings. This means no hotels, no loud traffic, no bustling and noisy nightlife as found in Las Américas - although this area is only 10 minutes drive away.

A commercial centre with a central position will provide all the necessary amenities including bars, restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, shops, banks, etc. making Palm Mar a truly self contained town, with excellent communication via roads and public transport with the neighbouring areas.

New sea front plans

For the sea front many new plans have been drawn up, some truly unique, which will make it even more attractive to live in Palm-Mar.

The beach promenade has been finished quite a while ago, and has a wonderful feel to it, with benches in true Gaudí style and lovely water ponds with tropical flowerbeds. The beach will be divided into a sandy beach and a rocky beach, there will be a snorkelling area, and natural seawater pools. A taxiboat going to and fro Los Cristianos will enable people to go shopping without having to take the car, or visitors to view Palm-Mar without having to move with bus or car. The public bus service will be installed in short, something a lot of owners have been waiting for, as this will generate more interest both for residents, owners and tenants.
